Digital Learning Time

Learning Time is going to look a little different this fall as we continue to gather virtually (in response to the pandemic), but it's going to be a whole lot of fun!

Learning Time for Younger Students (PreK-4) - Beginning on September 27, every other week we will produce a video featuring a different LT teacher sharing a bible study, asking some questions, and doing a craft that will premiere on Facebook after the worship service. We will prepare kits, which will be available at the church for pick-up prior to the start of Learning Time, with all the supplies needed to create crafts. The dates for Learning Time for Younger Students will be September 27, October 11. October 25, November 8, November 22, and December 6.

Learning Time for Older Students (5-8) - Beginning on October 4, every other week a LT teacher and Pastor Dan will offer an interactive conversation (via ZOOM) in which we will explore Bible stories with these students. These conversations will be held after the Sunday morning worship service. The dates for Learning Time for Older Students will be October 4, October 18, November 1, November 15, November 29, and December 13.

Plans are being made for a virtual Learning Time Christmas Program to be premiered on Sunday, December 20. More info will be provided about this in the very near future.

Adult Learning Time - Adult Learning Time will be offered on the weeks that Pastor Dan is not leading Learning Time for Older Students. This will be done via ZOOM so it can be interactive. This fall we will be working through the book "A Good Time for the Truth: Race in Minnesota", edited by Sun Yung Shin. This book is a collection of essays written by people of various cultural backgrounds discussing race relationships in Minnesota. Participants are responsible for securing their own books. The dates for Adult Learning Time will be September 27, October 11. October 25, November 8, November 22, and December 6.
