 Pastor Dan joined People of Hope as Pastor in April 2010. Prior to coming to People of Hope, he served as Associate Pastor at Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca, MN. Pastor Dan is very interested in helping people of all ages in exploring issues of faith, working with others to make a difference in the community, and helping others to see how God is a tangible part of everyday life. He has a deep passion to share with others about the way that the love has Jesus Christ has had an impact on his life, and how Christ could have an impact on theirs as well. Dan, Karen, and Tucker are continuing to explore what life and ministry look like in Rochester. When Dan is not in the office, he enjoys reading, playing music, watching movies (especially documentaries), and being outdoors. He is also a huge fan of causal conversations over a good cup of coffee.  Rachel Boyum - Communications and Office Manager Rachel lives in Kasson with her three kids, Lucy (12), Max (9) and Simon (8). They keep her hopping! She enjoys singing, strong coffee, good books, and adding to her pile of unfinished knitting
projects. Brenda Shamblin - Congregational Administrator Brenda and her husband, Brian, have been Member Missionaries at People of Hope for 14 years. They have four children, Hannah (18), Brock (9), Derek (8) and Jake (6). They recently added a puppy to the mix, Snowball the Goldendoodle, who is 5 months old. When asked to describe how she felt the first time she visited People of Hope, Brenda says it was like "coming home." She loves the mission and the welcoming environment of POH and loves being on staff. In her free time Brenda enjoys time with family and friends, scrapbooking, reading, Kathryn Thompson - Music Director
